Now buses are a great way to travel because you can get wherever you need to get to from your house or wherever you are quickly and efficiently. With many bus fares at good price and new ways to travel by bus, it makes it great for people to get out and about.
Now as you know many local villages only get a few by services per day or every few days.
Many communities are now having to go without local bus services due to changes which are being made withdrawn which means people living in villages are being trapped and have to felt on online shopping which is just as expensive as travelling by bus
Bus services are changing a lot due to money and how it's becoming for difficult to run bus services but why is it bus changes means there are fewer bus services than what it used to or getting withdrawn? Also why is it more local communities are going without buses?
Some bus services are run and paid for by councils and counties across the UK but when they cant afford to run the bus rote and the bus company cant afford to run the bus route, they will either give it to another bus companies or they will withdrawn the route altogether meaning that you let a lot of angry customers.
With not enough funding being brought into the transport to provide the bus services, it has been made more difficult to provide money to operate the routes. with £20.5m being lost and bus cuts being upto 45%, it means more are having to be done in order to keep the bus routes running. This has meant over 3,300 bus routes have either had to be altered, reduced or withdrawn in past few years..
If a bus company does not have enough money to run the bus service they will either do a few options:

If a bus company does not have enough money to run the bus service they will either do a few options:
- Divert the bus route to make the journey quicker so that they can feasibly run enough buses for the route especially if the buses are too big to run on the roads and streets.
- They will buy new buses if they have enough money or get buses from other buses if the other bus company is withdrawing buses which bus company believes might be feasible for the route and that is capable of the routes it serves
- If the bus company seriously can't run the bus route, they can ask another bus company to take over the route.
- If no one wants to run the route and there is seriously nothing they can do, the bus route will have to be withdrawn but making sure that communities are aware of the situation and that the council or bus company apologises for inconvenience that will cause to the people.

Also due to a decrease amount of passengers travelling by bus, if bus companies don't find the route financially feasible or not bringing enough money, the bus company running the route will either reduce or withdrawn the route and use the buses elsewhere. Because of this, communities that the only bus route runs in the village that gets withdrawn will mean not way of getting out and about unless walking. this is very unfair on trading and that elders are not able to do what they used to do.
I don't find it fair how bus routes are run today in this day and age because i believe not enough funding is being put into the transport system which is making a big impact on everyone's daily lives especially those who rely on routes for work, education, and people who need to attend appointments. Also it stops people from getting out, socializing and making new friends which can't be done in small communities.
I do think more funding needs to be put into the transport system so we can get more people to stop using the cars especially with low emission ruling coming into many cities across the UK. Also buses create such a lifeline for local communities who only have 1 bus service that serves the local areas and people can still enjoy the things they want to do without having to walk it. Buses provide convenient easy and cheap mode of transport and I think if more money get out into transport system, no bus changes or withdrawal like this will happen.
